Tower lamp

This lampshade consists of an exoskeleton structure whose components vary in proximity and size allowing different lighting possibilities including indirect reflections through the structure with direct lighting from the top|bottom.

Gyroid Lattice Lampshade 

Mosaic Network | Artaic exhibition NYC

The custom sampler binder of the project was exhibited by Artaic at the NoMad Hotel in New York as one of the 10 finalists of the Design 'N Gather competition.

Convergence Dome | Design proposal for the international design competition Winter Stations 2019 and its theme Migration.

The design explores the concept of migration from a physical point of view, understanding this as the change in position of an object over time which could be drawn as the traces left behind by the entity or object in motion.

The project consists of a shell structure that materializes the patterns of motion through a stratified structure alluding to sedimentation processes occurring in nature and whose morphology as a whole emerges as a point of convergence of those patterns.

Mosaic Network | Design 'N Gather 2018

The mosaic design for the ceiling and alcoves consists of a differentiated triangular mesh network where gradients of light are represented by gradual transitions of color densities from blue to white. The design adapts to Beaux-Arts architecture through a rigorous geometry while exhibiting generative principles that characterize contemporary design such as asymmetry, differentiation, and component distribution (as opposed to symmetry, repetition, and compartmentalization). The result is a vibrant and elegant composition where the old and new are fused. 

My proposal for the Design ‘N Gather design competition is now among the 10 finalists.

The winning proposal will be installed in NoMad Hotel’s cupola in New York. 

This year a new recognition for Design ‘N Gather has been introduced, the People’s Choice Award.

 Schwarz D ("Diamond")surface | Concept for a building 

This lampshade consists of a shell structure composed of differentiated lidinoids. In this lampshade the resulting morphology of interconnected labyrinths of passages varies in opening according to isosurface value variation, allowing different lighting possibilities.

Porcelain Tower Vase 

This vase was designed using one of my parametric systems for building design. It consists of a continuous porous surface adapted to the base morphology. The resulting vase skin gives intricate terraced aesthetics. This design is part of a series of studies of differentiated gyroids. Available for order in five different colors.

Branching Lampshade

This lampshade consists of a thin, doubly branched structure which generates a field of sequential reflections with a recessed light.
